Brain break games
Games to play in class
Quick games for a five-minute brain break, picked for elementary classrooms. Every game has a teacher card that tells you the grades, the skills and whether it works on the projector.
Whole-class games for the projector
Ad-free games we built ourselves. Big boards, team modes and nothing to sign up for.
Calm puzzle games
Quiet focus for after recess or before a test.
Quick action games (grades 3–5)
Fast reward games for older students. These come from independent developers through GameDistribution and may show a short ad before play.
How to run a game brain break
- Set the timer first. Three to five minutes is plenty. Tell students when the break ends before it starts.
- Make it a whole-class game. Project it and let teams take turns or vote on moves, so nobody is just watching.
- End on a calm one. If the room is buzzing, finish with Mahjong Connect or a riddle before you go back to work.
Want a break with no screen time for students? Try a This or That movement break or the riddle of the day.
